This is my teenage (doggy years) Briard Barney who is proving to be a bit of a pain at the moment. It doesnt help when he weighs 45kg and I am only 5ft tall!!!!!!!!!!

ooh! My mom loves briards! Why are his ears not up. Oh, are most american briards' ears cropped? I didn't know that, I thought they were naturally like that like papillons.
He is adorable, though.

Ear cropping has been banned in the UK for a long time now, so all British Briards have natural ears. He is pretty cute isnt he!!!

I heartily applaud this.. wish it were the same here.

It will never be the same here. Every time they try they are shot down by the conformation people who are "deep in tradition" I personally think that it is not worth the time money or effort to crop any breed with a blocky face, and they look better that way. Although I have to say if I had a conformation brussels griffon or doberman, I would probably crop. Also, I wish here in the stupid old US that all natural ears and tails were accepted. Many breeds can't compete unless their tails are docked.
