I was gazing into my tank today and i noticed my bristlenose lying on some leaves suspended above the sand...on her back! Yes, she was lying on her back on the leaves.

Being prepared for the worst i got the net and slowly moved it towards her and when it got too close, she shot off as fast as she could. Now she's being as normal as ever.

Why the hell was she lying on her back!?

was there something above where she was lying... ours quite often get lazy when they rest upside down and drop off what they are sucked onto.

I have two that spoil and are quite fat that do this quite a bit, but only when are an inch or so above an overhanging.

Mine have done that a few time saswell...I have to look really close to see if their mouths are moving then seconds later they are away....must just be lazy.
