Well, I have to start by saying I think most of this tank is down to sheer resilience by the plants...as I really don't know what I'm doing!
Anyway, here are some pictures of it, and some of the inhabitants. I have some from when I first set it up, up to now . The plants and wood came from my old tank and a friend gave me the contents of his tank breakdown so I was extremely lucky with this whole tank!
Water:
pH 6

25-30% weekly water changes.
Random additions of JBL Ferropol

Specs:
Fluval Osaka 320l
2 34w T5HO bulbs, 1 x Life-Glo and 1 x Power Glo
Eheim 2217

Redmoor root
Bogwood
Loads of slate round the left side and along the back (hidden from view but fish love the caves)
3/4 pea gravel
1/4 play sand
Laterite under Gravel.

I do have a CO2 kit but have never attached it, I don't really fully understand what and when I should be dosing but would like to learn. Some things grow well, others not so good!
