I hope it is still as safe as you say and i've heard indonesian people are very accommodating to travellers. Yeah if i win the competition then i will be going with two other people. And thanks for encouraging others =D.

Actually she does, as I have talked to her in General Chat many times. I mean do you really have to have such a big ego to announce that you're not voting for someone. Just do it, or don't no need to announce to the world that you are not voting to feed your e-ego.

You're right i should have identified myself but at the time i had forgotten that i was using a different account and didn't think at the time that it would be a problem. However, we've sorted it out now and i think that what Ace said to FWFishLover wasn't really justified but it's all sorted now. All one big misunderstanding =)

ALL rather unnecessary really, everyone is over it now though I think both Vixen and FWFishLover appreciate what happened. Obviously more thought in posts is needed by us all from time to time...probably in my case here too

Do you know where you are in the rankings at the moment? I can't even imagine how excited you must be at the moment!

Hey Curiosity101,

Well there are two main categories in which you can see how high you are in the competition, one is the "Top rated" section where the most voted for pages are ranked and two is the "Most Shared" section where the people who have shared their pages the most with others are ranked.

At the moment i am 1st in the Most Shared pages and am 14th on the Top Rated which is awesome! But as others vote for their friends my page gets pushed down in the ranks which is why i'm still trying to get votes .

I am sorry to report that after all our efforts i sadly did not get into the Top 20 Finalists of the competition.

All it means is i have to go there off my own back instead of being given lots of money! =P But i just wanted to say a HUGE Thank You to EVERYONE who helped me and i appreciated your support.

What itinerary won anyway?

The best thing you could do is to save up and get yourself a round the world ticket with maybe 6 stops, save a couple of 1000 and go for it, you'd be surprised how you can get by in some places with next to no money spent Helping people here and there goes a long way, I stayed on an island in the southern gulf islands off Vancouver on and off for 3 months for nought...I knocked up a web site, took people on local hikes and helped with a bit of manual labour in return for food and shelter in a wonderful place called Coopers Landing Otters on the door step, wicked sunsets and a marine conservation area around the corner where the local ranger let me camp for nothing after the first night...

The worlds your oyster, just jump on a plane and go for it
