MY BETTAS ARE SPAWNING

I always watch mine, 'cause I've had males turn evil in the middle of a spawn and try to kill their females. That, and they let me!

Congratulations on the spawn. Sounds like everything's going as it should. :)

You bunch of sicko voyeurs............ watching your bettas spawn. No decency.  Just kidding.

Congrats on the spawn! Hope it all goes well!

what kept you,,,,,,,        ......no the hard part starts keeping the fry alive and getting them to grow and make adulthood so it can all start again......

UPDATE: I removed the female at 7.30 last night so they were spawning for about 4 hours!!! none of them have hatched yet but the male is guarding the nest very well!!!

The male deserves a pat on his fins because he did not harm the female at all!!!

And she is back in her tank munching on bloodworms!!!

yeah, they're going to need more than 4 hours to hatch.

I said 30 to 36 hours.:) Don't go to bed mrplaty. You need to wake up and keep looking at the eggs. See which one hatch first! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

You got any babies yet?

Maybe he stayed up all night like you suggested Yeevie and now he's sleeping

I think the owner had to wear a 10x magnifying glass to look carefully under the bubbles nest! He might thought the bubbles are still eggs.
