i thought i would share with you some photos of my companions in life!

This is Vulcan & Vesta my fire bellied toads (there names stand for god and goddess of fire!)

All of my pets are rescues of some sort - apart from elvis who i bred at home. His parents however were rescued.

These animals make my world complete! x i hope you enjoy the pictures! x

the hamster is a funny looking little critter, we don't get them here so I can say that
all you need now is some birbs and fish and you've got a petshop

no little hamsters here, just bunnies, rats, mice and guinea pigs.
I saw a chinchilla last year, they are pretty cool, pretty expensive tho.

Elvis is a budgie!! and i have 1 tropical community tank, one betta tank and a goldfish tank!

This is peaches when she was a baby:

i rescued her from a man who bred hamsters to *show* them. he wanted to kill her because she had a peach tinge to her coat and he was breeding white Syrians for showing!

luckily we convinced him to let us take her in the night so no one saw the peach hamster leave his breeding grounds (encase word got out his hamsters weren't perfect!)

she lived her first few days in a ventilated Tupperware box, she was very small and this kept her quite warm. she has since upgraded cages and onto her fourth house. she lives in a 2foot glass tank with a mesh roof for ventilation. she has travelling quarters and goes everywhere with me. she is off on holiday for 2 weeks with me whilst i do a work placement at a zoo soon.

Elvis the budgie was hand tamed when he was little but he doesnt come out much anymore as he is so old i dont want to stress him out.
