Yes!! Progress is so sweet- its better than chocolate!! Next time I buy ice-cream I'll ask for it in "progress" flavor, because it is so good!! :D

My tank is 20 gallons, that's 75.7082356 Liters, right? In it I shall have some danios, gouramis, and possibly a loach or an algae eater. I'll be going away on vacation on Monday, I may not be able to post from North Carolina, because I may not bring my computer. If you don't here from me, know that I am swimming in the ocean, being eaten by mosquitoes, sampling the fine barbeque cuisine, and even though it's paradise I'll be back in two weeks.

So possibly good-bye for a bit. I shall leave you with this random quote-

"Parting is such sweet sorrow,
Shall we say good-bye until the 'morrow?"

Perhaps not not exact Shakespeare, but memorable B-)

P.S. this is my fish waiting for me- :fish:

P.P.S this is probably what I'll be like on the plane-:book: .... or this- :zz

I'm back!!! My fish are doing great, and I can't wait to get started on my new project!

I estimated that I am going to need two sheets of 4 by 8 wood. Just thought you'd find that detail interesting. At least in Oregon that does not come cheap at Home Depot. Luckily, I have funds for this project so I won't break the bank. Scince I personaly don't have acsess to all the power tools in the garage, I will have to wait until the person who DOES own the power tools to say "Hey, Neomeris, lets start working on the new stand today, because you've been waiting for months to build the new fish tank stand."

Unfortunantly, I am a far cry from perfect when it cones to operating power tools. So unless I want to lose some fingers or do the whole project with a hand operated drill or a saw, I will have to wait.

I need to keep telling myself patience is a virtue.

Okay, very kind of off topic, but I started painting foam spheres to make a cool fish mobile to hang over my new cabinet. I'm going to a biology camp on Monday, so I can't start yet, but I have a plan for the wood. For the outside, I'm going to use more expensive, pretty wood, and for the inside that will bear the weight I will use some strong, cheap wood. I know where I can buy this also, but the wood is huge, I'm going to need to figure out how to get it home!!!!

Okay, so far I have cut out all the pieces of wood, and I have layered certain pieces so they're stronger. Now I just need to attach the legs to the cabinet and put it together. I will put pictures up sometime, but I don't know if you want to look at pieces of plywood, which is what the cabinet is at the moment.

Ha. Ha.

Excuse me! Sorry for considering that you would find sheets of plywood boring. I WILL post pictures as soon as I can figure out how tho get new batteries into the CAMERA, and actually post the pictures!

So far, I have the pieces of plywood cut out, and some time soon, like today or tomorrow, start putting the cabinet together. Then there will be pictures.

Today I painted the cabinet. Unfortunately, I also painted my hair, so I look about 90 years older than I really am. Tizer, just so you know, there are plenty topics out there without pictures.
