My Apple Snails Had Layed Eggs Any Advice

I got some apple snails only four days ago and last night found a large cluster of eggs each about 2mm and they are on the underside of the hood well away from the water. But when and if they hatch will they automaticly go into the water or is there a chance that they will get out of the tank.
My wife did go a little white when I said I didnt know, "if that happens they can all go only fish in the tank"

they should go straight into the water. oh yeah two days ago my apple snails actually layed a proper eggs its outside the water and in a cluster there are pretty big, but its only a small batch about 20. i have no idea what are the eggs in my tank i think there just failed attempts because they appeared a week after my apple snails are there. sorry for no pics someone is boring my camera so as soon as i have got it back i will take the pic
