1x female convict,
1x gold severum,
1 or 2x festivs,
1x paradise fish,
1x common pleco,
1x bristlenose pleco,
1x keyhole,
1x firemouth.

is this a good stocking if so is there anything else i can add to this stocking?

pics please! thats massive. You could fit loads more i there i think,But its better to be understocked than overstocked.

Id miss out the Keyholes and the paradise fish and have two more female convicts and two more firemouths.
Just my thoughts since you asked.

Lol sorry, forgot about the other thread, so what do u think off my setup, i think it is much better.

I agree...

I'd ditch a few of the bigger fish and use some tiger barbs or congo tetras as dither fish... their behaviour can help to negate aggresion and timidness.

Ok i have init now,

2x firemouths,
2x female convicts,
1x paradise * couldnt get rid of him *
1x keyhole
1x severum
3x plecos,
1x rainbow cichlid.

all get on great, swim, eat together its a nice sight,

while we are on a subject, my dad has 2 oscars, 2 chocolate cichlids and a severum,

why are the chocolates allways getting chased and the severum is so scared it wont come out of a ordiment,

why and wt should i do?

its a 8ft tank as my dad used to breed oscars but hes givein that up, there 2 new oscars.

If that tank was mine ( I wish ) I'd go with something like this.

1st, A nice centre piece Plec. A scarlet L25 fantastic looking fish, get to around 15". HERE

2nd A couple of Bristlenose Plecs, to keep the algea under control.

3rd Bottom Dwellers, A mixture of Corys.

4th Bottom midwellers, Clown Loaches are my fav, great fish gets along with everyone.

5th Mid-top dwellers, Bala sharks would bring out the best in a 7ft tank.

As your set on having some Chiclids you could still have some Keyholes and Firemouths with those fish as they're on the timid side of the Chiclid family. IMO that would work great.

7 ft tank?

I hate you.

Other than that.....I would be careful putting cories with fish that are big enough to eat them. They can and will kill whatever is unfortunate enough to fit them into their mouths as they are "spikey".

Clown loaches sound great and are very entertaining....would fit in quite well with your current setup. :good:

And, I'm kidding....I love everyone.
