Here's some pics of my xmas present in the wall. When I first thought of this I wasn't aware of all the work to put this in the wall. There is a set of doors at the rear to get to the filters and I can close to get some privacy in the bedroom and I can open to see the fish from both sides. So far I haven't had any trouble cleaning it and getting things done in the tank.

I've got to add a backgroud and do some more things to the tank but all in all it turned out really good.

My next project is going to be adding a small sink in the bedroom to make draining and getting water real easy.

well right now I've got two oscars, a pleco and a frog. I'm trying to find a home for one of the oscars and looking for a 100g plus for the basement for another tank. I was going to try to get rid of both oscars but I really like the oscars.

When I was moving the frog from one tank to the 55 I hadn't moved the sharks and about 2 minutes after the frog was in there he had a shark in his mouth. Kept him in there for about 10 minutes and then let him go. The shark acted weird for about a week and now seems fine.

Nice Tank. What tipe of filter do you have in there.?

Nice tank. Gr8 decoration i like these type of tank that get through the wall.

Great looking tank, it would be a great one for a mbuna comunity if the decor was rocky. Did you install it your self?

Very good idea, a great way to save space in your room. I agree, discus would look really good in that tank.

just to let you know you should definatley remove one of the oscars, as they get older one will emerge as the dominant and he will kill the other one. even in a really big tank it's a bad idea to keep two oscars together. just thought i'd say just incase you didn't know! :)

I'm aware of the two oscars in the tank problem. I am looking for another tank to put one in until I can find a home.

I'll take some pics of the back before I finish it. I did build it myself and have no professional carpentry skills...just self taught. I watch alot of reno shows too. The tank came out really nice. The only thing is I really want a community tank and I'll have to set-up another one downstairs. When I went to buy the tank I was on med for a bad caught that made me a little stupid and compulsive.

I bought the tank at Wal Mart and it came with everything to set up. I had to buy another filter due to the one that came with it had stopped working one night. I did manage to get it going again and I kept both.....never too much water moving.
