Thanks all,
The camera is a cheap ($150.00) vivatar from walmart.
I took about 50 photos just to get one good one.
Room lights off, angled to the front of glass, flash on,camera rested on something
to steady it.
You can still see the reflection of the window in the tank, next time I will try
covering it up.
Also I cleaned glass inside and out very well then let water clear first.
Thanks for the kind words.
The fish are called MELANOTAENIA BOESEMANI (Boeseman's Rainbows)
They are still young and at about 1 yr they get their true colors.
They are a great community fish and very colorful. LFS had them for 14.99 a piece
I think they are all males but Im not sure, dont know that much about them yet.
The males are more colorful when mature.
They had 3 mature males in their own show tank that were amazing, but not for sale. Mine were in another tank and if I didnt see the same name on them I would of never guessed they were the same fish.
After about 2 months in my tank they have gotten alot more color.
Hopefully they will come close to the others Ive seen.
Anyway sorry to go on and on and on,I just find this hobby amazing in every way!!
