I have two exactly the same. Isn;t one an LOO7 Galaxis and the onther a small royal L190?

Yes i think it is, as when i first got him off someone they didnt know what he was.....
And i think it's a dull eyed royal plec l191, but not to sure

They do, even started eating bloodworm left on the bottom ... they love that

When i took the pic it was just after they was eating leftovers

I know, no one told me they would be like this, but as long as i keep using the gravel cleaner i should be alright

I have light sand and 6 plecs in my tank and don;t ever really see a load of poo

Wow I hope you have a big tank - doesnt the Galaxias grow to 12 inches and if the other one is a dull eyed royal plec it will grow to 14 inches long!

Yes, i have a 4ft at the moment but would love to upgrade when they're bigger

I do give them algae wafers 2 times a week, but when i feed the discus with frozen food, they are such messy eaters, so the plecos eat some of what's on the bottom

They definately like bloodworm, the galaxias pleco hardly came out before, but since he's had some bloodworm he is always out for more

The royal has an open cave/bogwood, so a lot of the food is on the gravel outside...
I also have a blue phantom who likes the frozen food, he's very small at the moment

Stunning Plecos, but nothing beats L47, and L014 in my opinion. I'm seeing plenty of driftwood in the background, nicely done. My Galaxias never left his corner of clay pottery
