Yes, It will be gold and greenish too. Very blink blink one now. I think the scale are like silver gold and it does changing to greenish too. Very unique and one of a kind. I think I am the only one got the father into USA from aquabid. The seller never show up anymore in aquabid and so far I haven't see another one in aquabid after I got the male. He is a totally mask fancy red gold halfmoon. I love his face character.
As for the red babies, yes, they are getting more red now. They will mostly turn to solid red for the male and the female just look like cambodian but more red. You can look at the parent at the other post about the breeding.
Look at the face structure of the blink blink. Just like the father.:)

New fishies. Yes, he is. His tail and fin been torned by a fierce red female halmoon. Anyway, when it turned to breeding, that is why you have to take the chance. When they growth back, it will not be the same and that is why I told people not to get the betta if the tail been torn apart like half. My sulthaisine red chilli also the same. Torn his tail by the same female and his tail is not like the same anymore. I really like this male and he is so funny when he is taking care of the babies. He is very cool playing with the babies for 10 days. :) Good daddy. :) :D
Here is another pair I am experiment with. First tsunamis baby with an old gold solid copper halfmoon male. I did trimmed the tail because he chew it to make it shorter so why not I help him out. :D This male is the second time breeding. First time not luck. I just give it another chance to prove him he will clam the female. If success, this offspring will be something. :) The first batch of tsunamis baby do has copper gold in the mother so she do carried the gold copper gene.:)

Those are so gorgeous

Not for the first time I wish I lived closer to your lovely babies

Are eyes that colour not common? The little female I had to let go last night with the dislocated jaw had eyes that colour and was the only one in the spawn :/

Why are you calling them HM babies? There is not one HM in the tank at this time. There may not be one at any time. Breeding 2 HM parents does not mean you get HM babies. There is a good chance the female was not even a full HM. Most females do not get to 180 degrees.
If you are going to run with the Big Dogs, no cold trailing allowed.
