My 1125l Freshwater Aquarium

At the moment we have about 30-40 geophagus winemilleri babies in our separate 40 litre tank!

That's a fire eel if I'm not mistaken. I didn't notice him, glad you pointed it out!

Yeah, that's about 1/3 of our almost-3-feet- fire eel. :D We can him/her "Läski-Tikku" which means "Fat-Stick". :D

And thank you, everyone. ^^'

Hahaha that's awesome! He/she is gorgeous. Does it not try to get out the top?

No, it never has. It's very lazy, actually. Most of the time he just hangs around in his own tube, and sleeping. :p

I've heard that many eels tend to sneak out, but this one never has.

Huh, interesting. I've heard the same is why I was asking. Glad he stays put for you! :)

I don't know if it's because the tank is big enough, or because he is bothered by no one, or is it because we have the paludaria-frame above the actual tank as well, or because he is so fat... :D He is really strong anyway. Once he got spooked by something (we don't know what) and he dropped two full size Eheim 2252 XL:s from their holders in one sweep. o_O

Paludaria-frame? Sorry if that is explained somewhere in here already
I'd bet he's very strong! Have no idea the size or weight of those filters though >.<
