Inception of the tank was lit with a 100cm submersible led light, DIY filters with a bio-mechanical sit on the top model and hardscpes to inspire andengage.
It has been close to 9 months that a eco-system has been created where most of the schooling fish have layed eggs while the water plants have acclimatised to the water parameters and hardscape of the fish tank.
Transformation started with a few phase projects with scapes and schools of fish adjusting to the nitrofication of the tank and cycles of minerals and chemical nutrients. More phases will be introduced once plants and fish growth rates increase and fill the voids, saving my trips and wallet to the Nano Fish Corner shop in piliyandala.
The granite pebbles in front of the boulder marble rocks have made a breakwater wall, creating open water flow and water ways for the schooling fish to shoal and school.
This is actually a phase 1 project of aquascaping and eco-systems at DIY concept level to keep a cost-free, healty and to be inspired by nature's way to have hope and faith to build life from its inception "Once Again".
