Since getting the bristlenoses i've been reading a hell of a lot more about plecs and were just wondering which were the most expensive or sought after ones

i seen some L330 the watermelon plecs at one fish store for £95 each and some Zebra plecs i think they listed them as f1 (not sure what that means yet) and they were £130 each but i think that was the most expensive i've seen at a store

So how much would you pay and for which ones

Thanks Sarah x

I think the most I have paid was for my mango and he was £30. I've paid between £10 and £25 for plenty of others though (royal, vampire, nugget, king tiger, sultan etc).

The Zebras are the expensive I've seen in the stores here.

Blue eyed Panaque if you can find them will cost you over £500 for an adult.

F1 usually means it's first generation from wild fish.
F2 is second generation.

It's also used in crossing species with the same description

as someone mentioned the Blue Eyed although coming down in price are going for over £500!!

most I spent is £79 for a L25 but he was my holy grail of fish so well worth it!!

Blue eyed Panaque if you can find them will cost you over £500 for an adult.

i saw a blue eyed panaque at wildwoods priced at £1200

I had one a customer had brought into my LFS about 13 years ago that cost me £12, it was about 7 inches beautiful and shiny black with lovely blue eyes.

I sold him back when I went to Uni and packed in, how I wish I still had him now!!!
