My most expensive betta was Allie in my sig cost $11. But I've spent somewhere around $45 for shipping on a different betta.

The best betta I ever bought was Carp for $2.89. And my 3 girls/1 male for $4!!

My BF said that he would buy me a $50 betta, but it would have to be at a show or something because he doesn't want it to be shipped around in the US. Or, he said, we could pick it up at Linda Olson (the transshiper)'s house in Denver when it came over from thialand. I've voting for the show because I know he'll buy more than one if he sees them in person!

Most of my boys and girls were anywhere from 2.00-6.00, but my newest boy was 29.00. He's a red/gold HMPK, and I am in absolute LOVE with him!!! He was so worth the money, even if my family thinks I'm crazy for paying more than a few dollars for "just a betta"

$10.00 each for my double tails Duncan and Baxter. Everyone else was in the $3- $8 range. But the money I've spent on tanks, decorations, etc...I don't even want to attempt adding it up!

Most of my bettas are between $4-$8 per fish. Even Synirr's 3 babies are in that average because of the shipping, so very reasonable. Newest guy was only $1.89, but he was sold as a female.

I can see myself paying more, but only if I wanted to breed them, and I'd invest in a sibling pair. I feel like this thread is familiar.

Now my most EXPANSIVE betta, is Froh. The dude is huge!
And he's not even flaring. Thought I'd add to RandomWiktor's dickishness.

Why would that matter? As long as you take care of them and keep them healthy...you are doing your job.

I think the most I've spent at one time was $40 +shipping, which was about $40..but I added on another fish...so tak another $25 onto that bill..so the total was $107. But I have done that several times though .

I know, I din't even realise Kevin had new stock till i Checked out Aquarist Classfieds. I showed that pic to a Freind " Work Who I got Hooked on Bettas, after he came over 1 day and saw mine. He wanted to know how much he cost and Where he can get 1. I told him to calm down as they can get to 3-4 times the size of your VT's. He can't wait for it to arrive so he can get a Good Look. He's Even More exited than I am

Mine range from a 10 g, 5 g, 2.5, and 1g aquaviews. But I spend so much setting them all up, I don't want to know... I was looking at my pay stub from work earlier today, and saw how much I've earned so far this year, and the only though in my mind was, "Hmmm I wonder how much of that was for fish things?"
