Most Expansive Betta?

I'm just woundering what yall have paid for your bettas.
I've never bought a betta from anywhere but walmart.
The only reason I'm into bettas is because I hated seeing them in a sure death situation at walmart.
Stupid thing to do because my heads spinnigh with all the thing I want to do, on top of having a life and a 55G + a 10G to work on....
So the most I've ever paid for a ebtta is like.. $3.89..

Not to be dickish, but when you said most "expansive" betta, I was fully expecting someone to pick up on it and post a pic of a very large betta with enormous fins

Anyways, the most I've paid is a hair under 3 bucks; bettas are cheap out here. Granted, all I have is VTs, Plakats, and a female of unknown type, but that's still pretty good! I've more than made up for it in tanks and medicines though.

I payed $36 for one once, but add on shipping and money transfer fees, that brings the total up to $80+. I buy expensive bettas far too often, but I can't help it. I just love em

Around $6.00 for the female "Thai betta" that I think is probably a plakat.

I was very tempted to buy a "Wild betta" in HarMar the other day.
The really only cool betta I saw there.
I wish I cought how much it costed....

I've paid about $25 a pair + shipping. But I always load the box up when I can so that the shipping ends up being little more than tax in a CA city. Of course that means I'm spending over a hundred $$ for fish at one time. But I would be worried sick to buy one of those $400 wild bettas. I'm not confident enough to try that. Taking a chance on losing 25 fish at a time is enough stress.

I am working on recieving three plakats now: 2 yellow long fins and a platinum white female for $38. That's $13 for three plakats plus $25 for shipping. If the supplier is wise he will throw in a "bonus."

I would really have liked a marble female but that would have been much more.

I just paid $40 each for a reverse trio (2 males, 1 female) of Betta albimarginata )
They're my dream betta... my trio is due to be shipped to the good ol' USA this weekend, then on to me from the transshipper so they should be getting here late next week!
