Moss Balls

been looking at adding a couple of moss balls to my small tank, im only in the process of setting it up i dont want a mass of planting but something nice wiht some colour would be appreciated

Saw them in my local fish centre and quite liked the look

They're not bad, shrimp love them as they collect debris, they're actually a type of algae but its fine they wont cause other algae, have a look on ebay as you'll get them cheaper.

these were bit smaller than a tennis ball and were 2 for 3 quid,

Do they grow fast? I dont want anything that will overtake the place in a week

No they're the slowest growing plants you can buy.
