Mosquito Larvae

Hi All,

I have seen this question on the forum before, but I am at a loss as to where to find it. So here goes again. Has anybody fed their fish Mosquito Larvae.

frozen from shops is fine.

Live in shops is fine.

Live in garden are ok, as long as their is not ducks in it.

Live from duck ponds is a very big No No. Desieases are transmitted from ducks to larvae and onto fish.

Thanks. I have got some in my water butt in the garden. Thought I would ask before I tryed them out.

Still feeding them to my fish every other day - have a feeling some of mine have got past the larvae stage though, as there doesn't seem to be that many left in my pond. I think, all in all, the larvae stage lasts about 3 weeks - so get 'em while you can
