I've been catching up on old Mork and Mindy episodes on the various marathons that are on TV Land this past week..

It was a funny show..

That was one of th top 5 funniest shows in the history of television. During a lot of the time it was on I was working in Saudi Arabia. back then the way expats got entertained was via videos smuggled into the country. In our apartment living area we had two rooms for socializing with TVs. They hooked to the same video recorder. There was always a bit battle between the folks from the USA and those of us from the states over watching Mork and Mindy. They did not get it. But for those of use who did it went a long way to keep us sane. Since I managed the videos, I could always slip in at weird hours to be sure I never missed an episode.

Thank you Robin for so often making me laugh so hard that tears rolled down my cheeks.

some of my earliest memories include mork and mindy.. it's been 36 years since I have seen some of the shows..

Just noticed a goof above- it was the UK folks versus those from the states- DOH.

Well I'm from the UK and I used to love Mork and Mindy.  I loved Robin Williams and was a bit disappointed that I never liked anything else he did afterwards.

If you want to watch a funny Robin Williams movie,  watch The Bird Cage--it's a hoot
