Will post more pics as it progresses. I cant wait to have it all setup and the fish swimming about but not going to rush things.
The tank as gone through the ammonia spell and is now raising the Nitrites which is good so just wait a few more days and hopefully it should be good to go

I have a few large fish going in it. Theres an Arrowana, Snakehead, Learius Pictus, 2ft Lung fish and a Psuedadoras Niger also going in.
I know a few need another tank and when they get bigger they will be going in a wider tank and may then sell my 6 x 2 x 2 tank which I also have

just done a few posts and to turn the tank over 3-5 times an hour is good, so I'm just about within the limits. Will have to upgrade when the fish grow and start making bigger messes!!
By the way is your sump sitting beheind the wall thats behind your tank? just realised there's a big hole in the wall for those pipes!!

the sump is behind the wall to the left of the tank so not visible, its actually under the stairs in a cupboard so ideal really and allows me to have a massive sump out of sight.
The AC5000's were only brought because I managed to buy one get one free at lfs so decided on the two, rather have more filtration than not enough

I know, but ive spent an obscene amount of money at my lfs and know them very well so I get stuff really cheap. They will price match any price I find online and if I find the same thing on ebay being sold as brand new and sealed they will match the selling price!!! not many would do that.paul_v_biker said:That quite a deal
When I purchased my 6 x 2 x 2 tank they quoted me £150 for the stand but when it came it looked crap and I wasnt convinced it would hold all the weight, so they said they would send it back and get me the proper tank cabinet which was nearly £400 and they would take the hit, I only had to pay £150 as that was the price they quoted me.
I would never ever go anywhere else now.

the most the shop i work at does for customers is 10% off anything once there well known!!
although my boss let a price get haggled down over the weekend. £115 to £85 for a ehiem pro.

I added sand from my existing tank, the stupid silk plants at the back were from my existing tank, I had a 404 running with just alfagrog in for approx 3 weeks on my 6 x 2 x 2 tank and took the media out and put it in with the sump trickle tower and also there is a small shoal of around 30 danios and the big plec in there helping it along.paul_v_biker said:

Hmmm and I was hoping adding media from my 204 would cycle it!!! I'll have to keep an eye on a few more things now.
I swear when i started this post you had 50kg bags down!! but 4 25kgs seems about right, although you seem to have a pretty descent depth already. I have 2 25kg bags ready for mine, I'ved got a a 3rd but thats meant for my 4ft tank.
should look great when you get your fish in there though, the fish i'ved got are going to look soooo stupid in a massive tank!!

I did have 4 x 50kg then realised they were 25kg bags lol but I do want it abit deeper so thats why im going with another 2 bags.
Try your media from the 204 and see how you get on, im just doing it my way, right or wrongly its how I had decided to do it with lots of stuff and too be honest it might not make any difference at all but I didnt think it would do any harm at least.
You should see the danios, they must think their in the ocean, they take ages shoaling from one side to the other lol

Trying to make me go crazzy 
I'ved also got 2/4 of the media in a tub. When i cleaned my 204 to put the alfa grog in there i tipped the water into the tubbed then rinsed the sponge in there to get lots of crap on the alfa grog. it's been bubbling over like this for a week with 2 airstones and heater in there. Hopfully it's doing somegood as there's going to be a mess when it goes into the sump!!
You must have some pretty big rooms to fit all these tanks in. My 5x3 is making the rest fo the room a litle cramped
Maybe i should scrap the big fish and have a 1000 neon tetras!! then put a birchir in
