Hey Mark,Thats the test kit i am using and i have a purigen pouch in my filter all of my levels are spot on they use to be all over the place but the pouch regulated alk that etc,i would never use bottled water as you say very expensive not something i would be doing,imagine how much it would cost if you had a 5 foot tank lol

Hey Jamie do you buy your bottled watter in the very large  bottles,or 2 liters etc it must cost you an absolute fortune,but its good that your fish are in excellent health,just wish mine would stop dying on me.

I buy them in the 5 litre bottles and put it in a container in the sink , then fill the sink up with warm water to heat up the water in the container .

Have you a big tank to fill up,i would imagine it cost you a fortune over a yearly period

Only use them on the small tanks 2ft and under its not that expensive . When buying rare livebearers at £25+ a pair I get it back pretty quick from the fry .

ah i see i thought maybe you were filling large tanks with it,what rare livebeares have you got? are you producing great colours etc
