Monster energy drink apparently has a track record of bringing any smaller outfit that uses the word monster into court. This inevitably, due to the cost of legal defense, results in the smaller outfit having no choice but to buckle to a multi million dollar corporation. Our legal system was not designed to be that way, and it should not be allowed to operate in that manner.

So support another site similar to TFF in this? Sure, as if it could happen to them it could happen to us. So sign their petition, visit their Facebook site; http/www.facebook.com/groups/207102559416917/

Show them some support, as this shows support for the entire aquatics community, which is much larger than a couple of forums.

well worth supporting.
what's sad though. is if the forum had enough money. the drinks makers would get a bloody nose. well in the EU/UK. and, I'd guess in the USA too. as the forum was registered prior to the TM for "the drink that will, from now on, remain nameless".

something else, for those prepared to work.
if you follow motor sport, contact the team/s, you follow with a complaint about the brand. and its actions.
these teams are very sensitive to this sort of thing.
its not much, true, but any extra is good.

Oh yeah, BUY REDBULL,RELENTLESS.
or drink water, as its much better for you lol.

I cant help thinking these litigators need rounded up, and sent back to kindergarten.

When i do decide to have an energy drink i choose the tastey tart bull! My innerds knew not to trust the other sugary bland drink!

Bad me, I drank a can of monster today it was all they had and I normally take B vitamin supplements and forgot it so bought nearest equivalent. Bad me but oh well.

lol, look out. Apple recently claimed they have "copyright" on any black colouring used electronic equipment. they claim they invented the colour for this use.
whats even more funny is, they won the court case??

now my first mobile, a maxon in 1993, was black. if memory server me right, all apple gear was bland grey/beige, at the time.

Thats really bizarre!! I hate apple *whistles* I do have an iphone but only because it was given to me for free when my mum upgraded hers and I am still paying off contract on another phone that was stolen *sigh*.

My first ever computer (ermm... 20 years ago!) was an apple, I only vaguely remember it and I was only 5 and all I had was kid games like the arty "Kidpix" (best ever!!) and a load of aesops fables interactive books like tortoise and the hare and 'just grandma and me' lol. God... those were the days!

if it goes on, Apple will have a police force handing out fines, to the public, for copyright infringement.
coz the invented BLACK. HONEST, they did.

I have a solution though. let remove the "breeding equipment" from all lawyers.
perhaps then we will eradicate the "greedy/selfish/lowlife" gene.
Problem solved! lol.

if you are a lawyer, or training to be one. I did mean to be offensive, so there!

Ok so on a more practical note.
if we outlaw the connection of, award amount, to the size of the lawyers fees.
in essence make them work for a fixed fee, not for a % of the final award.
these litigants would, virtually, dry up.

As a Vermont, I was aware of the Vermonster Beer battle.  My daughters love Moster drinks.  Will have to do my best on the boycott front!  May have a Monster battle at home over that!  lol  But will at the very least.. sign the petition!
