Edited because i confused this post with another one! Sorry

Anyway, came out good, you mean the tap water has 0 nitrates?

P.T>

though i haven't checked in about a month and a half. i have been keeping check of my water parimeters nnearly every other day. in my 10 gal everything was 0 except the nirates which is where he was. i am starting to suspect that there was an internal parisite in the tank since i had lost one mollie to it (also could have been stress of loosing his buddy)

now that he's in my other tank he's not breathing heavily and he does eat and swim around a bit. so i'll just keep on waiting

Thats Great That he survived the night!!! :D ...its a good sign that he did and he is not breathing heavily anymore. So he is getting better

I think that all of this is due to the cycle inbalance....nitrite go up then the nitrates...very stressful for fish. If it is Parasites your going to have to do some cleaning! gravel Vacs. and going to have to add some medication for the tank....but since your not sure about that yet. Keep an eye on the other fish in that tank to see if any other fish is efected. If everything seems fine after a week or so. Then I would think it was just the nitrates and nitrite that made him ill.

Keep Us updated!!

that's ok....but yes, the tap has no nitrates..

the other fish that are in the tank are good, no signs of any illness with them.
