Where did you hear that? It's not true, i even had amano shrimp in a small tank full of young triops about 1cm and they never touched them, even when thye moulted. In fact it was the triops that bothered the shrimp .I am rearing amano & red cherry shrimps. I have read about amano will kill red cherry while cherry is molting. Not so sure about how true it is. I am keeping my shrimps in the same tank, only experienced one cherry died, not sure the caused of it. Does anyone heard about amano will kill cherry while they are molting?
Amano shrimp don't kill their own kind when they moult, so why cherry shrimp?
