Mixing Plecos

How many Bristlenoses is a few?
and how wide is the tank?

You can keep upto 4-5 smaller plecos in a tank of around 5x2

i have a gold nugget plec and have been advised against having ANY other plecos in there as they are very teritorial

i had an albino plec in with a clown plec and the clown plec bullied the albino plec as he was half the size. make sure they have plenty of room and plenty of hiding places

The tank is a Jewel Vision 450.Plenty of wood and rocks.Going to put in a few slate caves also.There are 6 in total.

You could get away with more than what you have but I don't know that a gold nugget would be the best option. In fact, its probably one of the worst you could add to your setup. Do your homework and find something you like which is still reasonably placid with other plecos. I like the Baryancistrus (or whatever it is) snowballs but I can't have one for the same reason.
