Mixin' Cory's ?

I dont think so. :/ . Well I think you can get more of each and then they will school together. What size tank is it?

IME yes different cories do group together
I have quite a mish mash and they all forage and play etc together.

Hi Darrk :)

Almost all corys will do fine in the same tank. The only thing you need to watch out for is that they will fit in with the temperature of your tank.

Look at a group of corys in one of my tanks:

Love the photo by the way , great Cory tank , they def' mixin' well :)

Are the green corys in ya photo bronze cory's? they are cool :)

Hi Darrk :)

The green corys are called green lazers and are considered to be the same species of cory as the bronze and albinos often found at the lfs. These are a lot harder to find. Here's a better picture of them:

And here's a picture of my "Big Mama" bronze cory:

'Inchworm' .. Woh, those lasers are so cool, and as for 'Big Mama'..she's beautiful, great shimmer to her :) never seen a bronze like her down my lfs

I have 2 Albino + 2 Bronze (don't know how similar they are too yours) - they mix together but I have noticed that the Albino's stick together and so to do the bronze (maybe coincidence maybe not)! Technically, they are the same speicies so they should mix.

Ive gotta get me some of those Green Lasers. I keep trying to talk myself out of it, but that one the first pic with all the other cories has great coloration. Very nice

Lordy Inch, that's a lot of cories!!

So you can group diffrent corys together and they will still school? Amazing. I thought you can only get one type of species. :*)

Hi Arrowhead :)

No, they all do fine together. I do like to have several of each kind in the tank though. Often one species will seperate themselves out of the crowd and swim off together to play. That's a lot of fun to watch. :hyper:

I do have several corys that were rescues or were the only one of their species left at the lfs. I buy them when I see that because I would hate to think that someone might just buy it and keep it alone, with no other corys, in their tank. They just become part of the group and do fine too. :D
