4 days ago I had 10 molly fry in a tank on their own, nothing else in the tank apart froma plant and some gravel.

Now today I can only count 6.... I cant see any dead ones and theres none in the filter.... any idea what could have happened? :/

I've had situations where I innitially count 7 to 11 fry..... At the end of the day, turns out to be 18 to 22...... They are masters at hiding at that size.... Give it a week and count again... They might still be hanging around somewhere....

the fry are near enough see through so they'll be hiding at the bottom with the gravel, best way to find them is feed them and count them then

Mollies are masters at hiding. The varied gravel in the left hand tank means that if they lay on the gravel, or even between the grains, they will seem to disappear. A dark one in front of one of the darker pieces or a light one in front of a lighter piece will seem to not be there. As Ludwig suggested, give them a week or two and count again. You are probably missing a few while counting.
