whats the minimum size i should get for breeding feeder guppies for my cichlids

Although they are going to be feeders I think it would still be nice to give them a good quality of life before using them, so I would say a 20g, as this give you space for enough guppies to start with (and subsequently get babies from) and big enough for then to have reasonable swimming space.

why do you need to feed guppies to your cichlids? its not a good idea to feed guppies or goldfish to cichlids, just get a good quality cichlid pellet, something like hilraki gold has everything you need to feed a stable healthy diet, if you feel the need to give live food then go for feeder shrimp as a treat now and then

its not just a complete tank for breeding fish nd throwing them in a tank as food but its also as a tank for my parents in their room because they liek guppies so i thought y not feed the fishes fry to my cichlids rather than have a tank overidden with fry

20 gallons should be good, I'd think - get lots of females and fewer males so you get the most drops. Could easily go smaller, since it doesn't sound like these are a staple food source for the cichlids.

Alternately, since the tank's also for enjoyment and not just food, if you get just males for them, you can stock pretty heavily with guppies, a number of people posting in the livebearer section have male-only tanks stocked a bit over one fish per gallon.
