Finally got this guy to come out and eat!
Popped in a carnivore pellet yesterday, he didn't want it. Tried peeled shrimp, didn't want it. Tried shrimp pellet, didnt want it. Tried a wafer as thats what the previous keeper fed him, didn't want it lol.
Finally today he went for the carnivore pellet! Which is perfect as I want wafers to be only once a week for him as he is a more carnivorous pleco species, not a big vegetarian.
Hes also starting to come out of his hiding places too a little, so its nice to see him.

Came out during water change, seems the activity of the other fish got him curious.

After water change, hence more tannins in the water that I added fresh.

Wish people sold fish here, would love to get some really healthy fish that have been loved.

got something like craigslist or kijiji? Takes some time, but sometimes there are nice listings... or a local aquarium club?

While I'm here, has anyone actually seen the TEETH on these plecos???

He enjoyed some shrimp today as well as some frozen bloodworms. He is starting to be a little less shy as well. He really likes behind the sponge filter as his go-to hang out.
