Meet Mika

Thank you Miss Wiggle and lilfishie :D

I've had no joy getting her out in the garden again on a weekend to take photos in the sun (I wonder why. Perhaps because we've had NO sun???)

Anyway :) I snapped a couple of very quick pics tonight (I couldn't be bothered with setting up correct lighting etc. they were all just on quick auto-mode) just because I had my camera out. Here are some of her exploring (always exploring!) and a couple of Shaka (who's bed is on the top of my pc work station - a good vantage point for him. Though he won't be most pleased if he knew that I'm sharing the pic of him taking a huge yawn caught unaware!).

Her favourite activity is jumping right into and under the shower with me. Actually in and out all the time and running around with wet paw-prints all over the place.
Second favourite activity is scooping all the water out of the water dish. This habit is rather annoying because the kitchen floor is always covered in water and the water bowl empty :X
Third favourite activity is dipping her toys and the water dish and slopping them all over the place
Fourth favourite activity is helping me do the washing up playing in with the soap and water (do we see a water-based fun activity trend?).
Fifth favourite activity is playing trampoline on my bed and trying to ambush and kill my feet (hence banned from the bedroom at night - poor petal!)
Sixth favourite activity is ambushing Shaka despite and in the face of "peeved off" hissing. She pretends she has no clue what that means and just continues to whack the poor boy (sigh). I don't know how he puts up with her antics! lol

Mika's favourite toys are champagne tops (the wire bits with foil) and shoe-boxes!

Honestly Bloo, you have the most beautiful cat ever in Mika....
Its convinced me to look at getting a Silver Bengal (if that was the name, dur...) when i get the opportunity (love cats just don't have space or the money ATM), the wild look to her markings is partcularly stunning.
Love the black cat (ssp?) my first pet was a common (?) black cat and i love them to bits....
Anyway, you got good cat!
I'm jealous.

Thank you very much -germ- :good: I know I'm biased, but I do think she's a little princess.
Good thing you think of waiting to get one. Because the longer you do, the more their price will come down. They really are the most expensive of all the Bengals I'm afraid (wish I knew that when I first saw one and decided there and then to get one!). In proportion to the original brown spotted and then subsequently the snows, there just aren't nearly as many Silvers yet. Though their popularity and availability in the UK is definitely on the increase.
