Meet bettas #11 and #12

Ok... I went on the search for female bettas. I found one at wal-mart and she looked pretty bland and I almost passed her up. But I figured she was worth a shot and WOW! 2 minutes with the boys and she's got beautiful vertical stripes and unlike my other females her gills stripes are silver and not red. She is VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Her stripes have gotten more noticable now and she actually flares at the boys. I've never seen a female flare before. I think she is wonderful. I'm thinking steel blue? Maybe?

This is a boy I found at Petsmart. I went even though I knew they didn't cary females .

The rows were filled with veiltails with no fins or ripped up strings... but I found this guy who I thought was a cambodian.

I get him in some clear water and I see that he has a very nice roundtail. It is a perfect little oval when he flares. I like him!

I've ummmm taken over the entertainment center so now I am working on the desk...

The bowls aren't filled because I still need to get gravel tomorrow so I didn't bother getting them all pretty.

Hey nice bettas, i wanted to know if the female is a CT? because my female also has those ragged edges on her fins.

i bet the stripes mean that she wants to breed. thats what they do, get stripes when they have eggs. but dont yell at me if im wrong, i just read it,lol.

and she minght be, every time i go to walmart they have crowntails, they have the long tail spikes or whatever, actually most stores around me do. there must be a breeder around that breeds them. ive seen like at leat 4 in the stores, theyre not really really wrong ones though. she does kinda look like a CT, maybe shes a mix of a VT and a CT

Ur female looks to be a DR (Double Ray) She also looks like a beatiful green one aswell...Hope u take good care of her she looks like shes still getting rays...
