medications?

I just treated my tank for fungus (fin rot) with Melafix. The last dose was a day ago, yesterday we did a little more then 50% water change and replaced the carbon. While i was in the process of treating with the melafix, i noticed a barb with a white speck on his lip, and another of my fish has a lump in his throat. So i want to treat them with an ick/parasite medication. How long should i wait before adding a different med?

The std is 24-48hrs between medications.
Did the melafix cure the finrot/fungus?

Probably just wanted to make sure that you didn't follow a 2-week course and stop treating without the fungus going away. And certain members on this forum do not believe that Melafix works well in curing fish.

This lump in the throat, can you explain it?

Oh, the bottle said to treat for 7 days, so thats what i did. My fish's fins have healed real well, so i think it worked.
And i explained more about the lump in the Help! section. Read my post and tell me what you think.
