After having one of my fish get sick recently, ive been doing some research on deseases & what'not.. anyway from a few articles ive read, it seems a good idea to have some medicated foods on hand for such cases but i cant find any anywhere. Well, i can but only on american web stores. Are they not available here in uk ?

iv only ever seen medicated koi foods in specialist shops.
i feed garlic frozen foods and this helps keep infection and paracites away, just as a preventitive.
other than that im not sure

Cheers shelagh Lol..

Good idea mike, how do you feed it ??.. am gunna go google in now haha.

btw, prob daft question but garlic's ok for herbivour's init lol?? :S

Ok well apparantly, medicated food it just flake food with added garlic.. so ive made my own :D

alot of fish shops do sell frozen blister packs of it, simply just defrost and feed.
or you can get a liquid version which you just pour over your frozen foods, or soak dry food in. just check dosage on the bottle.
yea the garlic will be fine for herbivours.
