Me ! ! !

Well I found a photo, have to go out now, but there are a couple more I've got of the ponies. Might take riding back up some day.

This is my sister's connemara, we still own her. Absolutely stunning horse. The photo of a photo really doesn't do her justice.

Wow william... beautiful horses!! I love that buckskin, she really is a beauty! OOO bareback jumping!! How big is that jump, 2'6"? vewy talented.... Ah, now I want to go do that on my pony... :D I jumped her last night, did you know horses are nocturnal AND diurnal? So she could see just fine, I couldn't! Well, gotta go surf around some more. Buckskin? I don't understand? I can't remember the height of the jump - sorry!- it was ages ago, it was probably taller than me though

The horse at the top of the thread is a connemara, and her colour is a dun. Nice pictures sorrell.

Buckskin is what other nationalities call dun, I think english are the only ones who refer to it as dun, she's a pretty pony

Okay then, suspected it may be something like that :)

Here's my first pony, cindy, ages after we first got her, I'll try and find a real mini me on her. She was unbelievably furry and round like a barrel, but she was so fast, unbelievably so, won all the pony club honours and rossettes with her B) I don't know how but she was able to keep up with hunters, and I'm not joking. Yeah and the shorts in that photo are very short, that was my school uniform

Oh yes sorry, buckskin and dun... same thing here. Although I thought dun had a dorsal stripe and cross across the withers. I think they're interchangeable though.
That is such a cute pony! I'll show you my neighbor's pony, Shemmy, named after Bo Schembuchler. (Michigan football coach, her husband is a big football fan. I dunno. :S
) He's about 10.2 hands, I was so tiny then!! If he was about 15-16 hands, he would be like a champion in everything, he has so much talent. :D :flex:
Shemmy is a buckskin too.

cute ponies!!!

sorrell - you are so multi talented - is there a discipline you don't ride???? very impressive!! i love your appy! do you still have all those horses?

Thanks :) I pretty much did it all back in the day

That appy died my senior year of high school, he had some auto immune disease that presented as rhino, but wasn't. It was so sad, he completely lost his back and legs :/ I layed on his neck while they put him down :-( He was 7 -_-

The bay girl got colic and had to be put down at the barn, she was 6.

The other bay in the barrels picture, died at 16 colic as well.

The first sorrel is now 18 and he's at pasture, has a hind leg injury, but he was never really kid gentle anyway so we're not missing a ton.

The last guy, Brody, he's 12 now and he's also at pasture. The vet found a lot of scar tissue in his lungs and I was having trouble getting him legged up. So we're seeing if the pasture will open his lungs up a little
