I was wondering which you think is better for cleaner water, better looks and which just does better overall
I was wanting to know this because I am getting a new 55g and I was wondering which is better?

really so maybe I should get A PENGUIN for my new tank and does it keep the water clear?

I bought a penguin 8 years ago and it is still running today. Yes they clean the water. They have inserts that you can change if you need to. Hagen makes aquaclear filters. Best hang on back filters IMO.

would you reccommed aquaclear or penguin and keep in mind im 14 and on a tight budget

for a 55g I think that the price ranges from 40-45$ and I heard they do a good job cleaning

yea but they are more expensive and I am 14 money doesnt come by easy and they filter cartigaes come by easy and cheap

Aqua Clear. You will get the money back by not having to change cartridges all the time. I have several AC sponges that have lasted years, record is 7 years. Biomax doesn't wear out, you can buy floss in bulk dirt cheap.

They are a stronger filter. They have media flexibility as well as capacity. They are cheap to run. If another filter worked better for the price I would have been running them when I was running hob filters.

yea I dont know Ill try to look and compare prices between aqua clear and penguin but whisper is out of the question???

if i were you i'd forget the whisper altogether. if you can't afford the aquaclear get the penguin but the penguin will cost more in the long run. in your shoes, i'd spend the extra 10-15 and get the aquaclear.

why does everyone say get a aquaclear tell me why they are soo good
