Marineland day/night hood 24"

Understood ;)

@Boundava, do you have any modestly priced LED's to suggest?
I know you guys have alot of them
I was thinking... What if I dont need a light... At all. So if all my plants are low-light plants then do I need a light? Also I just remembered that gudgeons dont like a lot of light... But if I ever do get red root floaters ill get lights... Does this sound good? It would be wayyyy cheaper for initial set up. What do you guys think?

@Slaphppy7 and @PheonixKingZ what do you guys think about this idea? I just need some approval before I follow through.

Ok. But maybe just while its cycling no light?
You could not have any light during cycling, but your plants may die. Even if they are considered “low light” plants, they still need some direct light.

Some people believe that having no light will speed up the cycling process, which does have some truth to it. (As bacteria spreads faster in the dark)
