Its just the diameter

T8 means 8/8th of an inch in diameter
T5 means 5/8th of an inch in diameter

t5s are brighter

not the best in the worl but do-able for soft corals

So you will need to change them to marine to get the best lighting you can and put some reflectors on them

Well, I would probably go with 1 x marine white and an actinic and see if i could find a second hand light unit that fits the tank to run another 2 x white t5

or if you find another t8 unit cheap, go with three x white and 1x actinic

Yep!....Thats the same as mine, only mine dont require a screw driver to calibrate!
