OK, so my wife surprised me with a marinating syringe, which was very nice of her. Problem is, the point is kind of wide/big, and the liquid comes out of side areas, just behind the point. Can I just spray Excel over the algae covered leaves, or should I find a finer syringe that has the typical hole in the end, so that I can actually penetrate the leaf? Just curious, as I'll use it for meats and look elsewhere if this one isn't going to work. Putting it deep into the leaves will damage them, as far as I can tell. Even at it's large size, this would have been perfect if the liquid came straight out of the tip. I would appreciate feedback, as I am a better cook than planted tank keeper anyway...
