Getting my mantis to breed was four easy steps

1. Get eggs
2.eggs hach no mater what.
3.put mantis in garden.
4.more eggs.
repeat

Wouldn't it be a bad idea though to just release them into any old garden in any country? If they aren't native to where you live, you would be messing up the local ecosystems seriously badly. Even if they are local and native to where you live, it would probably be better if you space them out a bit when you release them so the prey is not suddenly and completely outnumbered by a hoard of mantis.

They were a local breed and i put only about a 100 in my large garden and spread the others around.And by the way those are the numbers they hach in 600 to 700.

Where can I join in on this kind of thing? Is it something you can do in the U.S?

I did it through a Program at a local univirsity but you can get them online because only certin species are protected.
