Male Or Female

Hi all bought 2 rams today as i plan on breeding them.

Any idea if this is a male or female?? and how can you tell.

looks like a male to me, the height of the dorsal fin is normally a give away. The tail looks a bit ragged though.

Looks male to me. Females often demonstrate a pinkish patch on their beliies.

Like said on your other thread - having a m and f doesn't guarantee a breeding pair.

Very true indeed. You would be better off buying a group, probably 1 male and 2 or 3 females and a pair form naturally as this will 'probably' result in young eventually.

I found coconut halves at my LFS (they were for hermit crabs lol) for like a dollar so all i had to do was cut an opening...jsut a though
