Male betta in with 2 females?

as for keeping bettas in with the females..you're really taking a big chance and it's best that you dont' do that. Males will usually chase away the females if theyr'e not ready to breed and treat htem as in intruder. Unlike other fish like swordstails or whatever, yoiu can't just throw in a male betta and a female and hope they wont' feel so lonely.

I wouldn't sugguest putting your males with teh females, even with a really big heavily planted tank you still risk the females and stress them out about constantly being bullied by a male. So for ur fish's sake i'd recommend you keep them apart.
hiya, yeah i do have a propper filter and a large air pump, so that there is more than enough air in the tank.

as i said before i have seperated the females from the male, and put them in the community tank. but i will be setting up a new little tank just for the females.
