Male Betta Fish Fight

I'm terribly sorry to hear about that. What a freak accident but....honestly...I drop bettas daily during water changes and they're fine. I know it was a panic moment but he'd of been better off on the floor for a minute,than in a tank with another male. I'm sure you realize all of this though. I agree with cation,bettamax asap.

I know i shouldve put him in a bowl or cup... but if i had heard his tank fall i wouldve grabbed a cup... except i was at work so i had no clue how long he was there for

I checked into fish medication and bought some anti-fin rot treatment.

I've dropped my fish many times, but I have no clue how long Murdoc had been on the floor for... so it was my first instinct... maybe not a smart one... and it went wrong. But my poor Squishy should be alright... he's still motoring around his tank

I think the fall of the tank, and my cat getting sprayed with water scared him.... my fish looked like he had just fallen out.. not gotten played with....

you don't have to defend yourself , its understandable, your not the only one that makes bad judgements in rush situations im sure, im guilty of it

I know... i just dont want Fish lovers to think i abuse my fish by fighting them i would never do that

Thanks for all your advice everyone greatly appreciated... I am looking for a camera to take a picture of my fish and my tank... but my mom lost the digital somewhere in her room
