My LFS named the Hillstream loach a "Butterfly pleco L033" pretty weird huh?

Hillstream loaches are sometimes called butterfly loaches here.

This is why scientific names are important. There can be hundreds of common names for the same fish and the locals all know it by the local common name, but there is only one scientific name per species and if you know the scientific name, you can identify the fish.

In general are these fish healthy ? I don’t understand why not label as Asian bred blue ram , if I breed my pleco could I label the fry as Birmingham pleco lol
