Making fish up ?

Apparently so lol I googled them they look like long koi goldfish lol
Ah, I just googled too, not like the ones I have! Mine aren't Bristol ones then. Mine have beautiful long tails and a more shunbunkin like slim body shape. Should get some photos of them while I can actually before winter sets in. They look more like this one. Love their tails

That's the one, I went as it opened, though if it was dry Symonds Yat was prefered.
That's so awesome! St Werburghs is a lovely part of Bristol, really unusual. What did you think of the city?

Can't be done, different fish completely. It would be like breeding an oscar and jack dempsey.

I'm going to start calling the goldfish bred in my pond, "Wind River Comets." Maybe they'll catch on and I'll be fabulously wealthy.

Edit: No, that isn't picturesque enough. How about "Rocky Mountain Gold Dace."

Asian blue rams are just normal blue rams bred/ produced in Asia.
German blue rams are just normal blue rams bred/ produced in Germany.
Fish produced in Germany are usually better quality than fish produced in most of the Asian fish farms.

I'm pretty sure Bristol in the UK, was where the original shubunkin made its first appearance.

The difference between a comet and common goldfish is the length of the tail.
Common goldfish have a short single tail and a normal streamlined fish shaped body.
Comet goldfish have a long single tail and a normal streamlined body.

The original shubunkin had a short tail and over years it has been developed to have a long comet tail.
