if we're talking about the same fish:

i bought mine labeled as a killiefish but quickly realized something was off when it became awfully chummy with my other rainbows.
from what i remember of my experience with him, he was very friendly (moreso than another mislabeled rainbow, labeled "axelrodi" but it wasn't either c. axelrodi nor m. herbertaxelrodi...).
all in all i found him very likeable...however, since his "buddy" introduced a host of diseases into my tank that resulted in the death of my angels and rainbows at the time, i removed them both back to the LFS...

i'd say get them :good:

killifish eh?
quite the misjudgment of species

so no problems with aggression or being harrased?
do they like still water or with a current created by a filter?
thanks for the opinon

i honestly didnt have enough time with the rainbow to answer your questions fully...
mine seemed ok in my 38G tank with 90G's worth of filtration, so there is plenty of water movement.

with regards to harassment and such, no idea. too little time with him and i also just dont have a clear recollection of how he behaved

good luck with them!

They are beautiful fish especially the very colourful males but to see them at their best they require hard water
