Has anyone in the UK used the MA price promise?

I know it only includes equipment but does it include online stores or just other 'bricks and mortar' shops and do they have to be within a certain distance of the shop?

Also what proof do you need to get the lower price?

I havent, but on topic of price matching, any aquatic supplies you need, buy them from
www.warehouse-aquatics.co.uk
AND THEN
Price match anything with this site
www.vitamingrocer.co.uk
They are SUPER cheap, but slow on delivery, so price match with warehouse and its a WIN WIN WIN!

Yes, I took a webpage printout of the Seapets Rio240/stand/pump upgrade/extras offer to my local MA and they matched it, back in April 2010.

Yep, got a decent amount off a Hydor heater. They had an iPad in the store so went to the website I said and found the online offer. Mind, I was spending over £500 on a new tank as well at the time!

Ok - I'm skiing in France until tomorrow and need a heater on Saturday so can't order online.

I'll take a few printouts with me on Saturday and hope for the best - I think full price is only £10 more so will have to cope

They will most likely price match :)

- price comparison has to be for a new product
- can't be on ebay or second hand/classified ads
- if bought online, MUST include the p&p price as well (though some places do free p&p so might not count)
- must have a print out of items as they would be just before you purchased it, to include full price including p&p

that said... for the sake of £10 the probably wont quibble over it :)
