I often find these blighters inside of my outside ponds and then wonder how much damage they have done by the time I discover them.... I'm sure if they go undetected, they can (substantially) reduce the numbers of my outside Guppies and may even go for the Convicts???.... They are a nuiscance around here and also leads to the prescence of Ringnecked Cobras, which I have also seen around my ponds...... The dangers (and joys) of keeping fish!!

I would be worried too at the thought of frogs & toads attracting cobra, have you a native non venomous snake that would eat the frogs?

have the cobra's ever tried spitting at you?

Yep!!!... the last one I caught at my ponds (I have a topic on it somewhere).... actually spat on my arm as I held it in front of my eyes..... I caught it and "Rehomed" it very faaaaar from my house...... Only noticed it when it was almost sailing over my bare feet....
