Lowering Ph

Ph was 7.2, gh was about 1..and kh was also extremely low, he didnt give me a number but he said my water has almost no hardness

Once the tank is established the pH is very likely going to lower naturally, so that answers you initial question I think.  But ask further if needed.  B.

Might attract more input.  But your option is quite extensive, with very soft water, and the pH will naturally lower to acidic once things get established biologically.  Almost any South American fish and SE Asian fish will be right at home.  B.
